Social Media Content Writer

The Social Media Content Writer will write, edit and publish engaging content for various social networks, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, etc.

They will:

– Create a social media content plan in accordance with the project strategy

– Write engaging social media posts (Tweets, LinkedIn posts, Instagram captions, etc.)

– Schedule and post the content on social media

– Analyse the performance of the posts, generate insights and improve

Typical activities:

– Understanding all facts about a client project  and proposed marketing strategy

– Working closely with the Marketing Account Manager to develop a social media plan

– Working closely with the Community Manager to develop copy for promoted posts and to develop content based on the community insights

– Regularly communicating and liaising with clients at a senior level

– Scheduling content to be posted on social networks

– Posting manually when scheduling is not possible (Twitter threads, videos, etc)

– Proposing visual graphics to accompany the posts to clients

– Researching content trends and best practices 

Requirements

– Good understanding of the NFT market trends and happenings

– Previous experience of working as a social media content writer in the Web3 space (Blockchain: Layer1, DApps, DeFi, NFT, etc)

– Fluent English, excellent communication and writing skills

– Hands-on experience using various social media platforms to advertise

– Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)

– Familiarity with online paid advertising

– Ability to deliver creative web content

– A solid understanding of marketing

– Hands-on experience with social media management for brands

– Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects 

– The ability to work as an authoritative figure in a busy team

– Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated
